Usually when I’m traveling, it’s a bit of a mess. I make plans, but, no matter what, something always goes wrong. That is just the nature of travel. But sometimes things just go right. Our day trip to Xochimilco in Mexico City is an example of one of the times everything went right.

Granada was my favorite city that we explored on our 16 day road-trip through Spain because there were so many things to do and it was absolutely beautiful! When we arrived in Granada the smell of oranges in the air brought new life into me after eight hours of driving.
Our first stop along our 16 day road trip through Spain was Valencia. We woke up a bit late on Saturday because we were jet lagged and exhausted from the flight. Thunder was vibrating through our AirBnB as it started pouring rain. Not exactly the warm welcome I was expecting.
It will never happen to me, right?
