Summer is here and that means visiting some of my favorite summer bars. Whether it’s a great view or a nice patio, I’ve got you covered. Pull up a seat, grab a drink, and bask in the sunshine or the glory of a great view. Look no further, the best summer bars in Denver are here!
Whiskey tango foxtrot
Tucked away in a corner of the ballpark district, WTF has a nice patio and a buy-one-get-one happy hour deal. You get a token which can be redeemed the same day, or during any other happy hour. I’m certainly a fan!
El Five
One of my all-time favorites is El Five. The views of the Denver skyline can’t be beat from here. An added bonus is the awesome drinks and Mediterranean style tapas.
Avanti
This restaurant and bar takes it to a whole new level with different types of food served out of shipping compartments. The drinks are also quite good, but they taste so much better when you’re sitting on the patio on a gorgeous Colorado day, gazing at the city.
Peaks Lounge
On the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency is Peaks Lounge, a semi-speakeasy restaurant and bar with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. It doesn’t have a patio, but for those 100 degree summer days, this is where you want to be.
Linger
Located on a hill above Denver in LoHi, Linger is one of the best places to catch views of Denver while drinking craft cocktails and munching on tapas inspired from different regions of the world.
Los chingones
I’ll take tacos with my view anytime and Los Chingones serves up some good ones. Located in RiNo, their happy hour menu includes margaritas, tacos, and more! The perfect setting to soak in the sun.
